I met Sebastián Ligarde almost 24 years ago; he was the terrible “Memo” of the telenovela “Quinceañera”. So good actor, that I really was afraid to approach, because I thought that the villain of the soap opera had to do with the human being, but no, quite the opposite. If you have to ponder something, amen of the undisputed talent of this actor, is his ability to be a friend, his cordiality, his dedication, his humanism.
Since then we became great friends.
So, I can say that from my many years as a journalist in the middle of the show, I can tell friends with my fingers, and Sebastian (for the friends, Gerardo) is one of them.
Today, at a distance, the admiration for him grows because, not only in the acting, but also in his infinite capacity to love and surrender to friendship, and for his love for a profession that he defends at all costs: the career of actor in whom, at the time, he has become a teacher, literally.
An infinite hug to my great friend of so many years and so many adventures from this trench of journalism.
